Zappers DR batteries use state-of-the-art LiPo chemistry
Zappers DR batteries use state-of-the-art LiPo chemistry with advancements in construction that result in improved power output and internal resistance without sacrificing durability. Reedy strives to improve all aspects of battery performance in the increasingly popular and competitive world of RC drag racing.
Zappers DR batteries feature a 3.8V/cell nominal voltage, meaning that the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell. It is not a secret that more voltage equals more power, so there is no easier way to increase power and top speed than a higher charge voltage! But even when the typical 8.44V (4.22V/cell) charging limit is enforced, Zappers DR shine thanks to their inherently flat discharge curve, which results in higher voltage when multiple passes are required between charges.
Zappers DR batteries are available to suit a variety of chassis configurations and the class requirements of different racing groups. To keep power-robbing resistance to a minimum, hard-case models are equipped with 5mm sockets (male ESC connectors are included), while soft-case models feature 10-gauge wire and XT90 connectors.
