These tires were a result from the Buggy Party race we participated in at the same track in Pattaya Beach, Bangkok Dec of 2009, We came up with the dual step hexagon pins for maximum forward traction, best cornering speeds, and the most on-power steering possible.

Unlike other past tires, EXP Exagon incorporates "EXP Cavity" into the tire design. This give the tires wider and flatter treading on the terrain. They also incorporate the side wall beads for a quicker response. You can also trim these beads and the outer edge pins to control the side bite.

We also went to the RC Mania track located near Bangkok which is well known for their rough surface that shows no mercy for rubber tires.

We ran for 90 minutes and found our pattern remained in good condition unlike other brands. This surprised all of us as well as the other drivers who were at the track. Other tires have most of their patterns shredded by this time.

We pushed it even further by mounting the same set of tires to the EXP Factory Pilot Ryan Lee’s machine to participate in a control practice race. His times were better than that of other drivers with brand new tires.

At the Pre IFMAR race on Feb of 2010: Dani Choi, who was running with another team’s tires along the first to fourth qualifying rounds gave the EXP Exagon tires a shot for his most important 5th qualifying run. He set his fastest time that placed him 5th on the overall qualifying position. He became a fan of our EXP tires and decide to become a Factory Pilot from that moment on.

At the main event, Thailand’s local privateer Champ Khunthin decide to put his faith in our EXP tires. They brought him into fourth place. Here is the actual image of the Champ’s left front tire after the brutal 60 minute A-main race.

The bigger and harder Sweep V2 dish wheels and lighter than ever closed cell foam combination made a great impression for the strong upcoming brand.

프리월드 챔피언쉽에서 처음 데뷔한 스윕레이싱의 EXP "엑사곤" 타이어

2개월전 파타야 버기트랙에서 열린 Buggy Party 레이스를 통해 얻은 데이터를 기반으로

투스텝의 육각형 핀을 최적으로 배치하여 최대의 forward bite와 빠른 코너스피드, exiting corner 스피드를 고려하여 디자인 하였다.

기존의 스타트렉-배틀스타-더트이펙트-레코드 브레이크와는 다른 EXP Cavity design을 적용, 좀더 와이드해지고 플랫해진 트레드 면을 가졌으며

사이드 월의 인사이드측에 비드를 덧대어 단단한 사이드월로 타이어의 퀵한 반응을 이끌어 낸다. 코스에 따라 이 비드를 커트해서 사용하거나

타이어의 가장 외측 핀을 컷 하여 더 많은 견인력을 이끌어 내는 세팅도 가능하다.

프리월드 대회에 앞서 실시한 방콕에서 가까이 위치한, 노면이 가장 거칠기로 유명한 RC MANIA 트랙에서 Extra soft 컴파운드로 90분의 주행테스트 후에도

여전히 핀 패턴이 좋은 컨디션을 보였으며(다른 타이어들은 핀이 모두 뜯겨져 나갔으므로 이 결과에 상당히 놀랐다)

팩토리 EXP 드라이버 Ryan Lee 가 컨트롤 프랙티스에 이 타이어를 그대로 사용, 기존 배틀스타 타이어의 기록보다 좋은 기록이 나옴에 깜짝 놀랬다.

미국에서 연습중인 다니 최(최병훈) 선수가 타사 타이어로 이미 프리월드 퀄리파잉에서 4-5위의 안정적인 기록을 내고 있어 5차전에 사용해볼 것을 권유,

반신반의 하던 그가 사용하자마자 자신의 최고 기록을 내며 해당 라운드에서 상위에 섰고

타이어의 성능에 매료되어 전속 드라이버로의 계약도 그자리에서 결정하게 되었다

결승 메인전에서는 태국의 Champ 선수가 엑사곤 엑스트라 소프트를 사용 최종 4위에 기록 되었고

한시간을 주행한 챔프선수의 좌측 앞 타이어의 사진을 첨부한다

사이즈가 커지고 재질이 더 단단해진 Sweep V2 dish wheel 과

기존 타사제 closed cell foam에 비해 더 가벼운 EXP insert foam 과의 조화로 Super Rookie 타이어브랜드의 강한 인상을 남겼다.
